Enrolment Procedure [Application for Entrance Form Download Adobe reader]

Acceptance is normally by interview and test. In the case of pupils from a British curriculum school, recent school reports will often be acceptable in lieu, if sufficiently detailed, as evidence of reasonable academic achievement to date.

Tests for classes at Junior 1 level and above normally cover English Language, Mathematics and, in the case of Greek Cypriot applicants, Modern Greek. In the Grammar School, a test in French will also be required, if these subjects are to be continued.

For entry to the Lower Sixth Form at least five IGCSE/GCSE passes are required with B grades in the subjects to be pursued at A level.

Registration

Upon acceptance the pupil must be registered within the period agreed. This entails completion of the Enrolment Form and the payment of the required Deposit of
€900. This reserves the place until the day before term starts (or the day prior to the agreed joining date), when the tuition fees must be paid. The deposit is not refundable or transferable if the place is not taken up but will be refunded when one term’s written notice is given. Pupils may not join classes until fees are paid.
